In Just A Little While

Florence E. Stiff

Out of the darkness things come to light
With radiance and beauty of a starlit night
In time is born a little child;
It all seems to be in just a little while.

All things happen in their place
Each in its beauty and its grace,
They come and go; and all we file
Away in life as just a little while.

All are given us to love and keep
Only until they are called back to sleep
Some linger long others leave as a child
But it all adds to just a little while.

Some make much of their time and years
Profiting from both the joys and the tears
Accept all with patience and a smile
And we'll all be together in just a little while.
