My Daily Prayer

Christ is on the alter

I kneel there and pray

For Him to make me worthy

To receive Him each day.

I look up to adore Him

I see His arms extend

He seems to say, "Come to me

And I will take your hand."

Humbly I kneel before Him

I ask Him let me live

To repent and say I'm sorry,

Christ Jesus please forgive.
