I'm A Wandering Dew

Florence E. Stiff

I am a roving wanderer
I've wandered more than you
I've wandered many a million miles
So they call me a Wandering Dew.

I've wandered here I've wandered there
I've wandered yonder too
I'm back in old Kentucky now
But I'm still a Wandering Dew.

I wandered in West Virginia
Three years multiplied by two
Though back in old Kentucky they
Still call me a Wandering Dew.

I like the whole world over
I like Kentucky too
But give me West Virginia
For I'm a Wandering Dew.

When I leave this old plantation
Kentucky I'll leave to you
But bury me in West Virginia
For I'll still be a Wandering Dew.
